I don't get that sense from Grandal at all. His body just seems cooked.

Cuban Connection just needs to be put to bed... that time passed with Abrey leaving.

And it arguably saved Hahn's job for at least five additional years.

Would probably be the best thing for Robert to get away from him and Yasmani who are just clocking in everyday for paychecks.

Eloy... remains to be seen.

Yas clocking a pay check?

dude dedicated his off-season to reconditioning his body to be ready to play. Maybe you’re sad he isn’t old Yas, but f*** off witb your lazy narrative.

Frank Thomas says hi. Frank thought he would be a Brave but Scherholz decided what you said and drafted Tyler Houston.

If we're going back that far it kind of proves the point. Obviously there will be exceptions to anything, though.

Pitch framing is dying and he can't throw out anyone in a game that's running completely contrary to his skills.

Grandal and Benintendi must have the worst fWAR per $$$ of any top two contracts in MLB history.

Should have known never to give four years to a catcher in his 30s when the highly analytical Brewers were only willing to go year to year.

If I remember right, I think it was Nats’ GM Rizzo, a Sox scout at the time, that really championed for the Frank pick.

And I do remember, factually, that it was lampooned at the time.

You draft the guy that's going to be the best player. For the last 50 years, the Sox firstbaseman has usually been their best player.

History will tell you that'll very rarely be a college r/r first basemen. The margin for error with that profile is basically non existent.

You're smart enough to know this isn't remotely close to being true. Come on, man.

Look at Pujols' obscure start at Msole Woods Community College in KC.

Royals didn't even notice him in. their own backyard... but the cross-state Cardinales did.

Not being as effective as they used to be doesn’t mean they’re mailing it in, dickhead.
