greg775
Robert turns 26 in August. It's pretty obvious he's not only got the tools but is swinging at more strikes. My point is this is the superstar u give the mega gonza contract to. And pray he stays healthy which mabe he's figuring out also. Hustling ground outs in chilly April tho is a recipe for disaster. I'm thinking we have bonafide superstar now in Robert; we got HR machines in Burger, Vaughn and Eloy if we can keep them healthy. I guess Sheets is a bust. But my point is the Sox have a few ellte players that a good manager could merge in with the stiffs and lead to greatness. Cmon Vaughn, Burger, Eloy, copy Robert and be more selective and BOOM! home runs in an awful division. Now pitching? We need a new pitching coach and new organizational philosophy on building staffs and bullpens. Cmon Sox. Ride the Robert wave to the division title.

I wonder the last team to have three guys hit over 35 hrs apiece finish under .500. I would think most managers would make something work with a core of 3 like that. And maybe four guys over 30 same question. Folks we have a bad manager. Nice series vs boston though. We'll take Ws. Yes, we have a bad manager because the bad GM hired a rookie manager from a losing organization. Consequently the losing rookie manager has a difficult time wining because his losing GM boss put handed him a terrible offensive lineup around the few good hitters the manager has.
