“Fans are fed up. A Sun-Times online poll in June asking who is the prime culprit in the Sox’ fourth-place (in the worst division) state assigned blame this way: chairman Jerry Reinsdorf (51%), vice president Ken Williams and general manager Rick Hahn (29%), the players (17%) and first-year manager Pedro Grifol (3%).”

That’s just laughable that KW and Hahn would be tied…if Williams has that much control more than a decade later, why even bother?  We all know about TLR not being the top managerial choice for Hahn…but enough already.  The train has left the tracks.

KW and Hahn aren’t tied, they were listed together as one in the poll

Kinda begs the question of why tho? The Sox really can't kick the idea that KW is still the man behind the curtain. Personally I think he's maybe involved in some scouting but that's it. The Sox should probably just let him and Hahn go at the same time, get two birds stoned with one joint when the time comes.

That would have made sense to do 10 years ago but we're talking about a Jerry Reinsdorf organization so ?

i know managers don't matter but Pedro deserves way more than a 3 percent vote. My guess is he is somewhere between Bevington and the old LaRussa.

Bring back Renteria and apologize to him for dumping him.
