Gone: Andrus, Benintendi, Burger, Clevinger, Giolito, Grandal; Graveman, Jimenez, Kelly, Kopech, Lynn, Middleton, Sheets.

  • 2nd: Moncada strikes out swinging.
  • 4th: Robert Jr. strikes out swinging.
  • 6th: Colas strikes out swinging.
  • 7th: Burger strikes out swinging.
  • 8th: Anderson strikes out looking.
  • 9th: Moncada strikes out swinging.
  • 9th: Vaughn strikes out looking.
  • 9th: Grandal strikes out looking.

Insult to injury, this is the first game in Chicago Cubs history with 4 + HRs and 5 + SBs.

I was going to say the same thing about Yoan as Kopech, idk if it was covid or just someone that peaked physically very young. 

I remember how the ball used to just explode off his bat. 

I'm not sure if there's anything the Sox could have done because I'm not convinced those guys were s%*# scouting, i just think their bodies weren't made for 162 games of baseball once they got into their mid-20s and there's no way to know that. 

This applies to Eloy too.

Not every team has a bad closer like Graveman, who is not a closer.  Sox need to try someone else closing.
