South Side Hit Men
The Sox best pitcher since the Sale/Quintana trades. Gave us many good memories and a few epic moments.
Timmy U
Lucas, great pitcher, seems like a great dude. He will definitely be missed. That said, they weren't gonna resign him so at least they got something for him. The Angels are almost as dumb as the Sox, so maybe these players will turn out to be good.
SoCalChiSox
Thanks for everything, Lucas. I wish you well on your playoff chase with LAA and your big contract, you deserve it. 4
SoxAce
Wish Lucas the, absolute best. Gem of a human being. Always interacted with the fans from my view. 2
The Mighty Mite
Good luck to Lucas. One of the few Sox players who this year was busting his ass on the playing field. In a perfect scenario I’m hoping that the Sox somehow re-sign Giolito next year as a free agent. 2
Superstar Lamar
Thanks for the memories, Lucas. I hope the Angels dugout has something interesting in the dugout as you stare into it from the mound in the middle of the sixth inning of every start
Bob Sacamano
Have some good memories from Lucas. Hated how up and down he was. 1
Tnetennba
I knew it was coming, but it still hurts. Sad that his no hitter in an empty park was one of the few memorable feats during the failed rebuild. Best of luck in Anaheim Lucas! 3
The Kids Can Play
He will be missed. He was class act and good pitcher for us. He always battled hard and gave 110 percent effort. His fire and passion on the mound and in that dugout, will be missed immensely. Good luck Gio and hope you do great for the Angels and whoever signs you in the off-season.
Texsox
If you like watching a player it's pretty easy to catch any game, anywhere. So meh, if I see he's pitching and it looks like a good matchup I'll watch. Modern fandom is changing.

If this organization ever wanted to improve its terrible image, resigning Gio as a FA in the off-season would be so huge. 1

The Sox will resign him as soon as JR decides to give out a nine figure deal. (Which isn't happening...)
2Deep
Appreciate Lucas. Hearing the news hit pretty hard last night as a fan because it wasn't suppose to be this way. So many expectations when we traded for him and with him being traded away it sunk in that 6 years of hope has turned into failure with seemingly no light at end. I didn't say it would happen, I realize what a loser and idiot Jerry is. I was just saying if the org wanted to improve their image and status to their fans, it would be a good idea. Plus a nine figure contract is normal today for a great pitcher, what makes it bad or good, is how many years and what nine figure amount? 1

Sad The rebuilding years were better than the post-rebuild years for sure. There was hope and it was fun following the minors and then even more fun when guys started getting called up.
