Agree 100%. Thanks for excluding Gio too.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
An actual win breaks the 6 game losing streak after 38.5 % of the innings pitched this year for the Sox was traded so an unlikely shutout happens. Toussaint , Banks and Santos combine for the blanking of the now .500 Guardians. Burger, Robert HR's. Cola RBI single. 3-0.
wegner
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this team is much more entertaining to watch post trade deadline.
South Side Hit Men
I’m finally at the point that I want the Sox to lose out after last night, and help Cleveland pass Minnesota. Of course the opposite happens.
greg775
Burger actually should be untouchable. We got something here, folks. And Robert of course. Keep em both.

Can't see Burger's value being higher than this moment just before the deadline, or him being a viable player the next time the Sox have a shot at a competitive team (2026-2027, with 2025 possibly being like 2019). I disagree. I know home runs are blase nowadays with everybody hitting 'em, but Burger really looks like a consistent 40 hr guy. I'd keep him. He can help a team win big things. Perfect ballpark for him too. Burger is our closest thing to a likeable player. He and Robert. Edited July 29, 2023 by greg775
