Nothing has changed from TLR it seems and the entire procedure the Sox use to challenge is flawed. This year remember Grifol said he wasn't able to challenge because the umpires said he ran out of time.

"There was a Sunday game, I don’t remember if it was the past year or the season before. The Sox were playing the Tigers I think and they lost a close game. There were two calls in the game that went against the Sox but the TV replay cleared showed both umpire calls were wrong. The Sox never challenged either of them. In the press conference Tony was asked about them and he defended his video crew, it was brought up to him that TV showed both calls were wrong from the umpires. The next day he said that he should have challenged at least one call. That told me this was not a tight operation.”

It is really amazing this dope doesn't get canned. The amount of games they lose that they should have won, and even could have won, is amazing. It just keeps happening. Hire someone who demands victory.

They would absolutely still suck without Pedro, but they would be better.

It might happen after that loss in Texas. Remember, last year when he suddenly fired both Hahn and Williams, it took us all by surprise. Maybe Jerry will get impulsive again.

"Suddenly" seems to imply forgetting the years leading up to that point.

Bob saying AJP would be a candidate for Pedro’s job when even JR feels he has to can him. So the must be ex Royals experiment has come to an end . Back to must be ex White Sox.

There have been some success stories with completely first time managers. Also, not some success stories. I thought he was being somewhat "positive" about the Sox future on yesterday's broadcast. That explains why.

When I think about great clubhouse people, the first person who comes to mind is AJ.  Combine that with all the experience he has and he’d make the perfect hire.

Maybe if this team were a young talent laden up and comer AJ would make sense. I still don’t like that he’s never coached professionally before. Being better than Pedro is a very low bar, and hardly and indicator of future success.
