Graffanino

I too would like to see Grafanino back, unless his asking price is ridiculous. Grafanino is scrappy, and has always played hard going back to the 2000 season.

As far as Daubach goes, I think he can be replaced. If we are looking for a lefty hitter that can play the corners, I think Robin Ventura would be a nice selection. He is considering retirement, but maybe he would come back for another year or two if the Sox offered him a contract. Of course, we shouldn't offer him a large contract.

What the hell are you talking about Steve.  There is nothing wrong with Beastleys last post.

I do want Graffanino back by the way.  He`s a great utility man and clutch to boot.

It is not about Tony G. I do want him back, and I think he is a great reserve.

With these posts, they're too much. Seems everyday he has about four or five threads that say the same thing. We could have just discussed one thing in a thread, and there pops up the same question in a new thread started by guess who. Everyone should know how people feel about each postion by now, I would be more interested to hear new names, or new possibilities, instead of him posting stuff that has been said a million times. It is like beating a dead horse.

Graff will be back, he's one of JR's fav's. If Konerko goes then yes Gload prob. deserves a bench spot, but don't forget bout Daubach either. Cleveland r interested in Tony G as well, they wan't some1 to take 2B few 1 or 2 years bf Brandon Phillips is finally ready.

I've noticed some similiarities in Beastley posts but they are not all the same. This one especially, I think you should pay more attention to yourself and not others.

Graff is a solid bench player and I would love for him to be back, as long as he doesn't want much contract-wise.

i too would love to see him back. Graffy is the kind of guy that can not play for a week, get inserted into the lineup and come up with 2, 3 hits. He can also play 2B, SS, and 3B. Graffy is a very valuable bench player

Don't forget, he can even play OF and 1B. He is very talented. I wonder if he could be that number five guy in the rotation.

AND, my friends, he is our 3rd catcher also. Did ya know that? Tony G is a great asset to a team, a guy that can fill in when needed, is adequate, not great, at several positions, and doesn't mind being the utility player on a team that can win. He made 675K last year in 2003, if we can get him for 600K, I don't see why you don't bring him back. I think he would return, as long as he isn't offered a starting job elsewhere.

I don't think there is any doubt the Sox want Tony G back. You might as well forget about Daubach. He didn't appear to be happy here, due to lack of playing time.

Also, I thought Daubach was our emergency catcher last year. Never heard any reference to Graff in that role, that I can recall.

Daubach can play catcher, I know that has been mentioned on television sometime. LeCroy of Minnesota played catcher this year, and I see him as similar size as Daubach. I would love to resign Daubs.
