I mean, other teams got the info, so if absolutely nothing else Getz has to get wind of that earlier and figure it out and commuincate to the fanbase. From everything we've seen it appears that Getz was ill prepared for this deadline when it's the only thing that really mattered since May. Again, that just can't happen. Thing is, Getz should have just said nothing rather than trying to justify the objectively poor outcome as a communications breakdown during an "ah shucks" routine.
