Right. And then allowed no follow up. Basically the stadium is completely safe even though he thinks bullets are falling from the sky.

Yep, no one could get a gun past the security team. Oh, except some fatass hiding a glock in her fupa.

That was absolutely brutal. He has all the personality of a wet paper bag. I should have been taking shots everytime he said "sit down with" and "culture." They're going to lose 120 next year.

Alcohol poisoning is a real thing

I didn't watch the press conference. What in the hell does this mean?

He had his second public brain freeze moment where an assistant had to rescue him from a media interview...just this week.

About whether he would be running for Senate again in 2024 or 26 or whenever his term's up again.

they don't even have a media relations person.  Why was Benetti running the press conference.

Boyer Reifert or Merkin not running things a bit shocking...a going away "gift" to Benetti who's arguably much more likeable and at least identifiable compared to those three to the general public of Sox fans.

Caught up a little - I would be EMBARRASSED to talk to clients or my company's board like Getz spoke to reporters. No preparation. You need to strategize on what people will likely ask you and be ready for that. It's not like any of these questions were out of left field so far - this is stuff that's been all over the internet.

If Getz wants to change the culture of the franchise the first move has to be is firing Grifiol, Katz and the rest of the coaching staff and bring in a new manager who names his own coaches.

Would there be any other organization in baseball that would retain their coaching staff after a 100 loss season in a supposed contention season?

Maybe the Royals?  They at least have their fans distracted temporarily with the new park possibilities and attached entertainment district plan.

If only they could have announced the $5.2 million savings from Clevinger deal are going directly into the revamped analytics department.  Alas no takers on that guy probably.  PR hit too distracting to a playoff contending clubhouse.
