Third most losses in franchise history.

Yes. 1970 is the only 162 game season with more losses. Worse than any of the three declared tanking seasons (2018).

GOOD RIDDANCE!

CYA ALL IN FEB

Personally I wanted this game to go like 20 innings. I like watching the Sox even if they’re losers. They’re still our losers. And it means the regular season is over, that’s kinda sad.

We did it! 40 full games under 500 for the year! Finally succeeded at a goal I set in my mind for the White Sox.

I said the A. L. Central second place team would have 78 wins or less, and Detroit nailed it.

Twins could have won the division 79-83.

The MLB Division Record Standings

  1. A. L. East 449-361 .554
  2. N. L. East 423-385 .524 (25 Games Back)
  3. N. L. Central 404-406 .499 (45 Games Back)
  4. N. L. West 404-406 .499 (45 Games Back)
  5. A. L. West 391-419 .483 (58 Games Back)
  6. A. L. Central 358-452 .442 (91 Games Back)

Pathetic.

That’s why you can’t have 4-team divisions when they go to 32 teams. It would lead to under .500 teams making it, and potentially have collusion within a division not to spend.

"Where do I sign up?".....
