BUT They have they have to spend the money and spend it wisely (enough bullpen big contracts) Hire GOOD coaching to keep the team focused all season. They have to start DEVELOPING Young talent. They have anywhere from five to seven position holes and at least three starting pitching holes and bullpen. I can’t remember when they last made one impact free agent signing, let alone ten. Rangers took two seasons....but they had quality talent in the pipeline before Seager and Semien and then Eovaldi and Degrom. Jung, Heim, Lowe, Garcia, and Carter. When you look at the pitching lines of so many playoff games these days with it being fairly routine for starting pitchers to go only a few innings, it is truly amazing what the White Sox accomplished in that 2005 ALCS against the Angels.
