Timmy U Posted November 7, 2023 Share Posted November 7, 2023 From what I have seen of Montgomery, the danger of signing DeJong is Colson beats him out in the spring. Because of his plate discipline, Montgomery's floor's pretty high. Not hard to see him hitting .220 and still being way better than DeJong. As far as Popeye and Sosa are concerned, their complete inability to control the strike zone may be a no no to the new regime. The last thing the Sox need is more guys who won't take a walk.
