South Side Hit Men
Behold the Spherical Armadillo. https://www.fieldofschemes.com/2024/03/06/21098/behold-the-spherical-armadillo-as-vegas-dream-stadium-has-ginormous-windows-scoreboard-funding-gap/ I can't believe the 29 other clowns are letting this continue. Baseball hasn't given me this much joy than the Field of Dreams Game and Giolito's Game 1 win in Oakland. They are still a half a billion short on financing before cost overruns, and don’t have renderings for the planned hotel, in part because that stadium won’t likely fit on the tiny 9 acre stadium parcel (35 acres overall). In comparison, Comiskey Park II covers twelve acres plus 70 more acres in parking lots, cause Jerry. The A’s originally sought a 49 acre site on Tropicana across I-15 was shot down by the Nevada Legislature because it is owned by anti-union Station Casinos. Gotta call this The Casbah if this ever gets built. The only band that matters…. 2

It'll be the only MLB stadium with a view of the New York City skyline! Seriously though, it does look pretty cool. The unique roof is suppose to allow natural light to come into the park indirectly and that glass wall in the outfield looks humongous. Only 2,500 parking spaces according to news articles. https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/07/sport/oakland-athletics-ballpark-las-vegas-spt-intl/index.html Edited March 7 by 77 Hitmen

Don Letts stated many Texans have not seen a live armadillo in person. Is this a true statement, and have you seen a live armadillo in nature or walking down the street during your time in Texas? pcq
They could have expanded the existing Ballpark and saved a lot of trouble. It is not very old. Both the A's and Sox need a boatload of other people's money. Good luck.

Foxes at times head into our neighborhood from the nearby (with a mile) forest preserve, but I’ve only seen one and that was around 4am, because they are nocturnal and will avoid humans. Wondering if armadillos are commonly seen, especially in Texas city or suburban neighborhoods, or if they are really seen because they are nocturnal and try to avoid human contact. The majority of the time I see them, they're roadkill.

It seats about 8,000, so they've need to add about 4x the current capacity plus put a roof over the park. Is that really practical to do to the existing park? Also thought Sacramento and Salt Lake City were some of the secondary options...si or no? Portland, but they're too far off from having a feasible stadium at the moment.
