Ive lost count of the number of transactions we've made since the WS ended, we have to be leading MLB. Too bad they won't mean much

The Organization has five teams not counting rookie ball. If Hahn left 30 serviceable players throughout the entire organization, Getz needs to find up to 100 better players via draft, international signings, trades. waiver wire dumpster dives and FAs.

We are going to see quite a bit of this over the next few years.

He once stayed at a Holiday Inn Express...across from Kauffman Stadium and the Little K.  Although closer to Arrowhead slightly.

Does that count?

Can we at least pick the right KC franchise to emulate?

The bears tried that with Nagy. Didn't work so well.

Sherman has a really good article on the Yankees situation (doesn’t sound like they love Snell or Montgomery, but know they need to add a frontline starter) with the following burb on Cease:

The White Sox are more likely to move Dylan Cease, but they see the soaring pitching contracts in free agency and the concurrent desperation among teams. So the “three premium prospects” ask was so high that, for example, the Braves decided to take the risk of acquiring the injury-bedeviled Chris Sale instead.

A toe sprain sent Kuhl to the injured list for a few weeks in May, but his 2023 performance might’ve been understandably impacted by some far more importantly real-world concerns.  Kuhl’s wife Amanda underwent chemotherapy treatments dealing with breast cancer, and Kuhl announced in July that had turned down other contract offers in order to spend the rest of the season with his family.  This deal with the White Sox is a positive sign that things are well on the health front for Amanda, and her recent X postings revealed that she finished treatments in November.
