elrockinMT
I think this article is right on target. Just look over the list of free agents that is posted by MLB and other sources. There are tons of players out there wanting to see what the highest bidder will offer. Figures of $12M, $15M and $25M most likely will never happen again, at least I hope they don't. I think it is also becoming apparent that spending the huge dollars that certain FA's seem to think is their due is not making a winning team. Case in point being Texas and even the Yankees. DBAHO
Excellent article, interesting to see how Everett could be left behind all the other outfielders. I think TB will definitely be interested in him playin right, and maybe SF. Colon to the Yanks is gettin more likely by the day.

SuperSteve
Or Ugueth Urbina, the Fish who got away from the Red Sox. Really??? Dam I tought it was from Texas.. Bos decided not to resign him after last season. He was a FA. He pitched for Bos last year. He was traded from Montreal to Boston. Rangers signed him as an FA before this season. It basically means the Red Sox could have had him, but decided not to, then needed him.
CubsSuck1
IF Godon doesn't come back, what are the chances we can roll in a guy like hasegawa or worell? I think Mesa and Benitez would cost us a little more than we are willing to spend. Could we possibly save some $$ by signing one of these guys? I have always been on the Hawegawa bandwagon. I would love him here.

Da Guy's a dud, can't strike out left handed hitters. Plus there r heaps of closers and relievers out there in this year's free agent market, there's definitely betta options out there. I for get the quote but he said that if he plays againt him he 'will punch him in the face and then kill him' Well, at least hes fired up.. YASNY
Urbina did "get away" from Boston. He was most recently a Marlin. Hence, "the Fish that got away from the RedSox".
Chisoxfn
Urbina did "get away" from Boston. He was most recently a Marlin. Hence, "the Fish that got away from the RedSox". Urbina is over-rated in my opinion. I think the Red Sox did just fine not signing him.

Pastime
It's understandable. However, Koch, when healthy and mentally right, can overpower hitters more than Urbina can. That's what I'm hoping for.
