He missed some time, but was mostly used as a swing man after losing effectiveness. Worth a flyer, at minimum will provide innings for Oakland. Can only assume Banister wasn't high enough on him...last really solid season (based on contract value) was 2021 SF. Or they simply feel that already have enough arms for ST already.
