Right now I think its a buck a song, like Itunes, except I think Itunes liscense is a bit better. But for a buck a download, I could just buy the cd. It is nice to have all songs you like, but usually when I buy a cd, I only get one that I really like, meaning I don't have to hit the seek button all the damn time. That sort of thing is actually a good deal. A lot of people I know ended up buying a whole CD for 1 song that they liked. This way you save a bundle and don't have to put up with the filler crap.
