How many 26th man on a roster guys do the Sox have in camp? It feels like 50. Watching Mendick, Pillar, Remillard, Ortega etc is mondo depressing.

But they work cheap which JR mandates!

It's just a completely uninteresting ball club. But that's not a surprise in a lost season.

Maybe we get some Colson/Ramos/Nastrini at some point, but until then I'll just watch the minor league affiliates.

If Crochet is really throwing 100 mph again they should make him the closer and trade in July.

They should develop him as a starter and trade him  July 2025.
But if they are inane enough to put him in the bullpen, yes we should trade him as soon as possible.

Maybe they're all in their own special competition, trying to be the most nurturing and motivational .

He doesn't have enough innings to be a starter.

Another day, another desultory loss.

Corpseball will be the go-to phrase describing the team this year.

Just Spring Training, but worst run differential in the league.

I don’t think it’ll be much different during the regular season.

Except that was associated with Greg Walker's "lift and pull" philosophy, which at least occasionally paid off with 3 run homers.

On the plus side, DeLoach seemingly might be a pretty decent defender, at least the two corner spots.

They should have developed him as a starter from the beginning. They just had to bring him up at the end of 2020

You’re right but Hahn had to Hahn. But conveniently, the team has yet to move to American Samoa and conver their roster to cricket, so a guy who needs innings can, during 2024, throw innings.
