Seems like they are starting to look much better than they did at the beginning of spring.

Is it a coincidence that they started to play better after the Cease trade rumors started up again?

Seems like the Dodgers and Orioles leading RS/RA must be a complete coincidence...there is certainly some correlation, albeit not nearly as much as regular season play.

In a season like this...any somewhat positive indicators are something to be lukewarmly excited about.

Granted I am not following too closely this Spring, but his defense seems quite shoddy.....he must be working on some stuff

He was trying to turn two and it bounced off his glove. It wasn't the most routine play, but I'd agree that he's nothing special defensively.

It was about as routine as they come,   grounder right near the base . Probably took his eyes off the ball to see how far he had to go to step on the base or the ball could have hit the lip of the grass and in that case I don't blame the fielder that much. If it hits the lip it can take a higher bounce a lower one or go sideways in either direction or any combination of high low sideways.
