Tony
I can’t get over Ohtani. He’s so far and away the best player to ever play the sport, and we’re living right in the prime of it

DoUEvenShift
Holy s%*#.... that statline tonight is fuckin bonkers. Shohei needs his own thread. I rarely venture out of the PaleSox section but this guy is going to go down on a new level. Ohtani is a tier above Babe Ruth and no one will be able to argue when all is said and done. I wish Jerry would open his checkbook for someone even half as good.

Plus a better supporting cast to help reach those numbers.

caulfield12
A’s finish with a massive 40,000 plus attendance for last home game ever…27 bases will be given to club employees, fans will be fighting to fill up infield dirt in water bottles if they allow it. Preview for JR? Next three in Sacramento. Last in MLB attendance, 922,286 and average per game of 11,529. Dallas Braden going all over parking lots and stands thanking all the fans…his perfect game the #1 Hollywood story, movie possibility if they keep greenlighting baseball movies without Costner. Plus Pitt did it better in Beane role. Shades of Brooklyn Dodgers leaving Ebbetts in 1957…added for JR.
