caulfield12
Nick Madrigal go ahead double in NY. .195/518 Cubs are leading a charmed life...and doesn't look like MIL has enough pitching to sustain throughout the course of a long season.

Autumn Dreamin
Burger is down to .192/.238/.342. TA is at .197/.234/.221. Both were 0-4 in the Marlins loss today. But Declan Cronin has been excellent, so Miami is 1/3 on former Sox at least. Elsewhere, Johnny Cueto is working his way back: Middleton starts a rehab assignment for the Cards next week. Santos had another setback and is now not expected back until July:

Harry Chappas
Go look at how the cubs scored their eventual winning run yesterday. At the time it seemed irrelevant but it ended up being the difference in the final score.

With a 31 wRC+ and -.4 fWAR he's probably a DFA candidate if the kid is any good at all. ZIPS has really soured on TA's true talent. Thinks he's basically a 1 WAR player at best. He's toast imo. Just saw the Angels have zero prospects in MLB Pipeline top 100, have a terrible MLB team, and Trout is hurt again. Maybe if the Sox and Angels combined forces they could win 90 games. It really makes the payment they made for Gio and ReyLo last year all of the more stupid, as if it wasn't already stupid when they did it.
