Burger inching right up to league average.

22/42 out of 3B with over 200 at bats.

23rd homer tonight, .253, 781 ops

Jake “Adkins” Eder, 2-8, 6.06, 1.62 whip, 10.47 era at AAA, another case like Vargas of chasing past prospect ratings as “buy low” when it might already be too late to reverse prevailing trends?

Well, you can than Kenny "My Boy" Williams for that trade.

.235

   .727

Paul DeJong with his 20th homer and running away with the OPS lead over former Sox teammates.

Even the small font can’t shrink his dongs.

Swinging the balance of the AL WC race today, along with Witt and Ragans.

One of Getz’s two good offseason acquisitions, along with Fedde.  Better than nothing, even though the trade return for them was meh.  DeJong ensuring himself another contract and gig for next year is impressive.

This gets a mention due to Kim Ng and Burger/Anderson by extension, haha.

“According to a report from ESPN's Alden González, the Marlins made a sweeping series of firings on Monday across their front office and scouting department. At least seven front office executives and 10 scouts were let go in the process.

"Bendix was widely expected to eventually make more of his own hirings, but people throughout the industry were stunned by the breadth of changes made with seven weeks still remaining in the regular season," González said.

All of the employees confirmed to be fired were hired under previous Marlins regimes, namely former top executives Derek Jeter and Kim Ng.

Among those let go were assistant general manager Oz Ocampo, widely known for his international scouting success with the Houston Astros, and international scouting director Roman Ocumarez.

González also reported that manager Skip Schumaker, who won the NL Manager of the Year award in 2023, is "widely expected" to become a free agent at the end of this season. That likely means a sweeping overhaul of the coaching staff is coming as well.

The Marlins have been through constant turmoil over the past two decades. Bendix has sold himself as the exec who can finally bring sustainability to an erratic franchise. Only time will tell if moves like these were necessary to bring that sustainability to fruition.”

Burger at .783, has reached base three times tonight.

46th in MLB, or the 1 1/2 ranked offensive player on average across thirty teams, so likely would be the second best hitter on any random team in baseball..

Sale leading NL in wins and ERA.

Moncada at least has Desastre Personal.

Looks like Sale would probably need around 200 wins for HoF.  First three are pretty much shoo ins.  Sale at 134 career total, Cole 150.

Can't say im surprised to see how well the majority of these guys are doing after leaving this horrible organization.

Moncada is going to play 162 games next year and win MVP. They'll ask how and he'll just be like "[insert team]'s training staff identified a weird thing in how I run and fixed it."
