Baron
Wasn't Paul DeJong the only person on our roster with any good history against Maeda?
Baron
Correction. It's Sheets and DeJong that do.

Now now, we can’t go expecting Pedro to use actual data when making the lineup now can we?

South Side Hit Men
Changes from Opening Day: Detroit - Three changes: Carpenter, Kelly and McKinstry for Ibanez, Vierling and Rogers. Chicago - Two LHH against the RH Maeda: SS Shewmake for DeJong; RF Fletcher for Pillar.

If I were any opposing team, I would just pitch around Eloy/Robert and pitch directly to everyone else.
Chicago White Sox
Bold predictions: Soroka goes six innings with only two runs allowed Leasure makes his major league debut and is perfect Brebbia & Wilson combine for two scoreless innings Maeda goes five allowing zero runs and one base runner Fletcher has a clutch two RBI double in 7th to tie game Robert hits a walk-off solo shot off of Lange in the 9th Pedro gets cocky in post game and hints at playoff run

Say what you will about Getz, getting useful returns for relievers when your team sucks I will always get behind. If Soroka remains healthy to the deadline, that trade could look like a stroke of genius. At worst we got a couple of utility players and some AAAA starting pitching depth for a reliever that drove us nuts and even at top form wasn’t going to help us any
