They just need REAL major leaguers/competence/respectability. Dominic Fletcher was the closest they could claim to a difference-maker added the entire offseason. Yeah, they’re placeholders, but so could Sosa, or Remillard, or Romy (if not DFA’d due to roster crunch). They’d put up similar numbers lol they could be placeholders too. Rosario is no big loss but it’s a good thing they dumped Rodriguez only to DFA numerous guys later. But I guess it was important for the Sox to keep Bryan Shaw employed.
