I'm clearly not NEARLY as qualified to be the GM of an MLB organization or anything, but....my first sign that maybe a guy isn't someone to go after when I have limited resources is....

...no one else wants the guy.

Ahmed Rosario.  He's the difference maker huh.  Ok.

Jesse Winker, check him out.

Lugo ERA down to 1.05.

Like the those historic 1967-68 pitching numbers....when you face the White Sox frequently.

Someone should have informed Pillar's agent that if the only team offering a roster bonus of 3 million was the White Sox, no team was offering a roster bonus of 3 million -- or anything.

They don't need difference makers.

They just need REAL major leaguers/competence/respectability.

Dominic Fletcher was the closest they could claim to a difference-maker added the entire offseason.

That tells you pretty much all that you need to know.

Yeah, you can’t exactly argue for DeJong and Lopez. Yeah, they’re placeholders, but so could Sosa, or Remillard, or Romy (if not DFA’d due to roster crunch). They’d put up similar numbers lol they could be placeholders too.

10,569 people need a refund tonight

Well, apparently they're determined not to ever announce a crowd this season with just four digits.

Because THAT would apparently be TOO embarrassing.

When you're down 2 in the 8th and Nicky Lopez hits, you know you suck so bad.

Trini Lopez was better hitter.

and then what?  They have 3 wins instead of 2 and they trade him at the deadline for some 26 yr old in A ball?

They all suck, but that’s also why Getz and Grifol should have been fired last year as well.

No.  Ahmed Rosario PLUS José Rodriguez... then this team would be awesome.

Rosario is no big loss but it’s a good thing they dumped Rodriguez only to DFA numerous guys later.  But I guess it was important for the Sox to keep Bryan Shaw employed.  Yes, this guy…  looks like he’s about 48.
