Chicago White Sox
I’m assuming we see Thorpe, Pallette, & Batista today, which is a nice set of arms going.

SoCalChiSox
Colas 2-2 with a BB and SB so far. Hopefully he can be brought up soon if the defense is adequate.
SoCalChiSox
Thorpe 5 IP, 0 ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 1 K so far. Dude definitely should be in AAA shortly. Edited April 19 by SoCalChiSox
DirtySox
Didn't get to watch any games, but looks like Batista had a solid line.

PaleAleSox
Getting pretty excited about Brooks Baldwin.
Autumn Dreamin
Fantastic efficiency for Thorpe through 7 scoreless tonight, only 3K but lots of weak contact early in counts.

He's not that toolsy, but he does a little bit of everything and he plays smart. Both he and Quero have really high baseball I.Q.s.
mac9001
Thorpe looked lazy out there in a good way. Just kept throwing strikes, even on the walks he he was right around the plate. There's just something uniquely special about the way he throws.
Harold's Leg Lift
He has so much deception in his delivery. He throws his glove at the hitter then he has that short quick arm action right behind it and the ball gets on the hitter fast. It really makes his stuff play up. He's going to be so much fun to watch.

Timmy U
Thorpe seems to be too much for AA hitters, but I don’t like sending actual pitching prospects to Charlotte’s launching pad. I wonder if the Sox would consider just bringing him up from AA at some point.
