The talent gap between these teams is insane.  Also, I’m pretty sure I could throw an offspeed pitch that Vaughn would miss.

As long as it's low and away...

Good thing we don't have Whit Merrifield at least to suffer watching.

Stone is living in the past.  He thinks 35 year old Whit Merrifield is still a good player and is mystified by his slow start.

How sad is it that the Sox couldn’t afford him

Seriously, it’s almost like Stone said that just to justify the Sox old geezer signings.

Probably would normally be a good thing they didn’t sign his old ass.  But f*** Jerry pocketing more money.

Gotta save money for his son to take over

Why is Vaughn pointing his body at 2B there? Good god. Get in front of the bag and help your 3B out. He made that way closer than it needed to be.

Poor fundamentals...combined with poor agility and zero leaping ability.

Shiffren needs to move over to MMA...inevitably, the pairing with Stone will wear quite thin by July.

Especially hawking concessions every home game.

Not a fan.  He's a worse homer than Hawk when the Sox were winning.  He actually mentioned that it's still very early in the season so this Sox team could turn it around!!!

174 OPS for Maldonado now.

OPS....One Seventy Four.

With all the players and prospects Getz has already dumped for nothing because he manages the 40-man roster like a goddamn schizophrenic, would it have killed him to trade one or two of them for Joey Bart when the Giants DFA him and told Maldonado to retire and become a Sox coach?  Jose Rodriguez and Josimar Cousin could have brought back Joey Bart.
