Iriarte for Bham.  It is early but I have been pleased with some pitching.  Hitting though......... 6 Kannapolis starters yesterday were .200 batting avg or less.  7 for Winston Salem.

That Kannapolis lineup is atrocious and should be immediate proof this is not top 5 farm system.  But lot’s of good pitching, a fun Birmingham lineup, and then few quality positional guys elsewhere (Montgomery, Gonzalez, Zavala).

Thanks. I think the Sox are confident about some guys on the ACL roster who will be in Kanny for the second half. Kanny needs them. Aside from Ronny Hernandez, there's not a lot down there.  I think W-S has more talent but they've played in some pitchers parks and were stuck playing a Rays affiliate.  I think many of them will bounce back.

Pham also getting reps in these AZ games for now.

Taylor had TJS in Feb of 23, so he is just now starting to really pitch.  The the first part of this at least is probably a wash for him, but good to see him out ramping up.

Barons rained out, they'll play two tomorrow.

The other three affiliates win their games, giving up just 1 run a piece. Lots of promising pitching on the farm.

The Knights are so much more watchable than last year (when not up against the Tides). Mendick might be making a case for Chicago.

Brebbia has a scoreless 2K inning in his rehab appearance, Berroa has 5 straight scoreless outings after a rocky start.

We need to draft some hitting this year, our pitching has some good depth right now
