Stop calling him “The Legend”

Chuck called him out once. Surprised they didn’t put an end to that. Oh wait, it’s the Sox. All about the milkshakes.

Something has to change with how our how our hitters prep.  How does Eloy not know by now that sweeper/slider away is all he will see?  All of our hitters swing at garbage off the plate and takes strikes down the middle.  Contrast that to opposing hitters who seem able to lay off anything that is not in the zone.  Are our pitchers that bad, or are opposing hitters just better prepared?

Eloy is who he has always been.  An injury-prone mistake pitch hitter who wears his glove on his head when he has to play the field.

It’s because Jerry isn’t willing to spend on an analytics department.  He’s got a hitting coach down there trying to chart pitches, probably on a fucking spiral notebook.  It’s been a few years since I looked but last I saw listed the White Sox analytics department was a grand total of two employees while the top teams were around 7-9 personnel.  There’s a reason both Sox’ hitters & pitchers can’t adjust to anything.  They are simply being out-scouted and out-analyzed on top of already being a roster full of below average MLB players.  That is absolutely a recipe for a historically bad season.

How is Vaughn not trying to hit a grand slam in that last at bat?

Nearly 20 games under .500 and it's not even May. Never thought I'd see that.

Not from a "major market" team.

I said the same fucking thing yesterday. FOR TWO YEARS ELOY HAS SEEN GARBAGE AWAY TO START ABs!

He's almost always down in the count because of it. Like do we have a single fucking coach that can work with him on IDing how pitchers attack his weaknesses? Come the f*** on this is MLB you're all being very well compensated to be at the pinnacle of the profession DO YOUR JOB.
