Pedro News conference.....

I was watching it on ESPN news...It was live from the Domican Republic...He mostly talked about his contract status, the Manny situation, and the playoffs. He says if he had to move on-he would have to just like he had to in Montreal...Gave no details about Manny though...Nothing about Maggs or rumors about him.

Lol... that was just speculation on the Score b4 the conference started... all in all though, it ended up being a boring conference... since it was all translated to english... but just summed up to be about what his future plans with the red sox were...

anyway... somehow or another, mags would go to boston, and somehow we would keep everett, and get pedro.... lol..... im sure we would have to trade reed or something for all that to happen, and our payroll would be sky rocketed ....

Well,

Anyway, its agreed, no way this s*** would happen...

Well, there you go...

You can put 99.9999999999999999999999997% of everything you hear on that station in the "useless garbage blah-blah" category.

I don't even believe final scores if I hear it from that station.

I believe that Pedro is paid more than Magglio, which is reason number 1 this ain't true.

99% sure Pedro get's $17 million, to Magglio's $14 million. Why would the BoSox trade Magglio for Pedro anyways? Wreck their rotation, plus take a position away from Trot Nixon (Manny as LF, Damon as CF, Maggs as RF, Ortiz as DH, Millar as 1B, Trot as s*** out of luck). No way that deal straight up is even considered.

I don't think the deal will go down. I doubt it was ever even considered.

But Boston would do it because Pedro told management he is leaving Boston in no uncertain terms. He told them to get what they can in return, because he is leaving.

So maybe someone thought they'd be trying to get something, even something in Maggs that'd have to be re-signed, than nothing when Pedor walked...

But I doubt the trade was ever a possibility [though I know nothing, obviously].

Forkit!

Pedro is done. He will still be a good pitcher, but his arm is toasted and worn out.

Many people predicted his arm would fall apart, and it did.

He will be lucky to win 14 games ever again.

They told him 10 years ago to gain weight because he was putting undue pressure and strain on his arm. He finally listened 2 years ago. Too little too late.

He's a has-been. Mark my words. I'm glad he's on THEIR team and not ours.
