southsider2k5
The Midshipmen are really giving the Irish some problems. Could the streak of 39 straight victories really be in trouble???

Damn Fighting Irish. On the brightside they had their season high for points in the 3rd quarter...a whopping 7. :fyou ND
southsider2k5
Navy goes up 24-21 with 10 mintues to go in the game. That Navy FB is awesome, he is just running people over.

ND just sucks and I wouldn't be shocked if Tyrone gest his ass canned if they lose this game. I know it wouldn't make sense financially, but ND would just go out and spend whatever it takes to get a TOP NOTCH Coach. Nothing but top notch. To not win a few games is horses***. I gave the schedule some of the reason, but Navy sucks, obviously ND is freaking horrible too.
southsider2k5
Irish tie it at 24, with under 6 minutes to go. Julius Jones has almost 200 yards rushing in about 30 carries.

I still can't figure out why Julius Jones hasn't been the main back all season. They are always giving Grant a lot of carries too, even though Jones has been excellent all season long. WHarris1
ND is about to kick a game winning FG to win. Tied 24-24.

Flash Tizzle
ND wins on a 40yrd field goal by Fitzpatrick with time expiring. That makes it 36 straight losses for Navy at the hands of Notre Dame.
southsider2k5
The luck of the Irish does it again. Walk on kicker from Granger IN kicks a career long 40 yard FG to win it.
Cerbaho-WG
I'm surprised Fitzpatrick is still the PK. I know Setta is injured, but their "backup" Carl Gioia is realllly good. He's from Valpo, and he can drill the ball with very good accuracy.

This isn't a competition.. it's like me playing a 4th grader in basketball. If you've won 40 straigh versus an opponent, I'd expect to to show some class, act like you've done it before, not celebrate like you've just won a national championship. Rex Kickass
Ummm this year Navy's the better team. It's just that "Rudy" magic all damn over again.
doubleM23
Irish win! If we run the table (odds aren't that bad, pick up some steam for the 'Cuse) we're bowl eligible and you know everyone wants the Irish. Oh yeah!

Mathew
I watched that game before getting s*** faced and both teams sucked balls. I'm not a f*** the Tarnished dome type, but if ND makes a bowl game that's a real shame! At least the Buffs won today!

Anyways, if any team had started as poorly as the Irish had and then come back to go 6-6 on the year, everyone would be, "it's such a shame if they don't get to a bowl game." Bla bla bla. Go Irish! Rex Kickass
Maybe they could play the Motor City Bowl. How sweet would that be for the Irish? Holidays in Detroit!

I don't think the Motor City Bowl has a Big East or independent invitation. I'm pretty sure it's MAC vs. C-USA.
