5/19 Sox @ Yankees 12:35PM CT

I always wonder if, in a case like this, Katz would brief the hitters on Rodon's tendencies and his tells, or if that's all just run through advanced scouting to verify, or if that is even a thing.

Eloy in the outfield is an absolute joke.

Probably less of a joke than Sheets. And hey, Eloy could get injured, and we could slot somebody else in that DH slot for 10-20 games.

Eloy now too focused on playing incredible defense and has a bad at bat. Before he was too focused on not playing in the field at all. Can’t wait until he is gone. I thought he was going to be the best out of all of them with the bat.

Remember when the Sox refused to give Rodon a QO? That was awesome.

Actually, it probably was the first sign the organization wasn’t committed to excellence. It was a 1 year contract and they were afraid. No team they claimed yo be more like, expect to win every year, operates like that.

Who made that decision, Hahn or Jerry?

Yea, I remember; the dimwits declined Rodon and picked up Kimbrel.

Beckham and Schriffen continue to talk up Maldonado

And Schriffen who is from NYC, is still seemingly unaware that the park the Yankees currently play in, is relatively new.

Lots of people here agreed with that decision.

Hopefully that Julks thread continues to age poorly.

"Trading for a guy who hits HRs off the Yankees should be a firable offense."
