sox just refuse to teach these guys how to run the bases ?

Hey, TLR tried.  He said not to run hard.  Maybe he was on to something with these guys made of glass.

Are you suggesting that teams spy on their players? And if they're doing things the team doesn't approve of, .... intervene?

He is suggesting that teams try to control the regiments of their multi-million dollar investments.  Yes.  Absolutely.  Why is that crazy?

The three main injury-prone crew have barely played this season and they couldn’t even make it to the start of summer.  Further proof on why these guys can never be counted on, which shouldn’t excuse Getz or the Sox for banking on them.  These guys are what they are.

Hopefully, Getz uses this as a learning lesson and realizes that this is what the future likely holds for Robert, barely playing due to injury just like Eloy and Moncada.  Get him as healthy as he can be and trade him after an extended hot streak.

The flip side is that Robert stays healthy by some miracle and the Sox won’t be able to re-sign him anyways so I don’t see a reason to not trade him.

I agree with trading Robert.  The guy Robert reminds me of is Eric Davis to some degree. Davis put up some great years but was always injured.

146 plate appearances, .669 OPS, and 2 injuries already this season.  So what exactly is Eloy good at, considering he can’t play defense?

Myles Straw has considerably more bWAR in a similar amount of plate appearances.

ILoy is a total piece of sh't -- guy's unwritten "training" regimen is to get hurt so he can play video games on the couch and smoke weed.

Players have clauses that say they can't skydive or ride motorcycles. But teams don't usually park a van outside their house, and kidnap them when they're pulling the Ninja 250R out of the garage.

Teams also usually don't have a trio of stars who can't even run to first base on a regular basis without pulling something.

Yep. TLR might have been a washed up drunk, but the dude had been around professional ballplayers for decades. He knew that he had a bunch of prima donnas and china dolls on the roster and tried to delay the inevitable injuries for as long as possible.

I would be embarrassed being spotted on a Ninja 250. May as well buy a moped at that point

i’ve never seen anything like this, a young man gets hurt on a constant basis just running the bases!!!

Weird, it's almost like he's not very athletic.

It's like Ozzie said on a postgame show earlier this season, these guys work out in the off season to look good not to be baseball ready.

This could be true, hence they really aren't following the direction of the strength and conditioning team.
