Timmy U
Wolkow out of the line up again for ACL Sox. I assume he is dinged up.
BamaDoc
In the ACL game, Burke has 11k through 4 innings! Robert 0-2 with 2k
Autumn Dreamin
3Ks looking for LRJ makes me suspect they're just having him track pitches or something. Also, Iriarte should be piggybacking Schultz for Bham tonight. Wouldn't want to be an opposing batter (but that's true basically every game with the Barons).
Timmy U
Kanny up 11-0 so far in the 3rd.
Timmy U
In ACL, 2 HR for Angelo Hernandez. That is 3 for him so far. He was a big money guy out of Venezuela, so he may be a name to watch. Grant Taylor has struck out 5 of the 10 men he has faced. Seems too polished for Lo A, but innings are the only thing that matters with him. Autumn Dreamin
Kanny was up 11-0 after 3 innings in game one, so they're facing position players for the rest of the game. They added 4 more in the 4th, so maybe they can beat their 22 run franchise record even though it's only a 7 inning game. At the very least, they'll add to their already league leading run differential.
Autumn Dreamin
Schultz' first AA inning: strikeout, 2-3 groundout right in front of the plate, strikeout

Yeah he was bad last year but he played a long ass year.

Timmy U
bb, defensive indifference, blooper. Iriarte gives up the first run of the game. Barons still lead 7-1.
Autumn Dreamin
Iriarte finishes the game with 5IP, 3H, 1ER, 2BB, 5K. Barons win 7-1. Gonzo 2-5 with a double and 2RBI. Elko 1-4 with a HR and 3K. Veras 3-5 with a double. Ellis stole a pair of bases after a single. His 30 SBs are second in the minors. 1

In the most recent Future Projections Carlos Collazo asked Ben Badler about him. A, it was clear Badler has not seen or even heard of his swing change, B, Badler said he is not under consideration for the Top 100. Interesting considering just how bad multiple guys in the top 100 have been, including Matt Shaw and Tommy Troy.

I was kind of shocked how poor a lot of these first rounders are doing. https://carloscollazo.substack.com/p/issue-12-checking-in-on-2023-first
