Crazy outing so far for Burke. Through 2, 6K. Really good control except when it completely leaves him. 2 walks on like 10 pitches, otherwise pounding the zone. Tough to know what to make of it. He's 94-97 with a lot of life on the fastball. Change is better than I remember it.

With Montgomery, Robert, Colas, Ramos, and DeLoach I think Charlotte may have a better line up tonight than the Sox.

Grant Taylor up to 5K through 3. He's looking really good.

OU and Texas softball might be stronger...

There’s not a rotation spot in High A. Keener, Gordon and Batista should all be there too

IMO his development is more important than any of those guys. The Sox felt he was a first round talent pre injury (which it looks like he has recovered fully) and paid good money to prevent him from returning to LSU.

He isn't being challenged at all in Low A and there's nothing there that will force him to make adjustments. It can be just like Schultz in AA....get him in the rotation and another starter can piggyback mid game during his starts. It's not like they are letting Taylor go 7 innings each time or anything.

Have to prioritize some guys over others.  Taylor clearly Top 3 in the organization in terms of potential as a starter.

That's all up to the minor league development guys.

I think 4 inning starts in Kanny is fine. The innings are much more important than the level.
