Timmy U
Weird inning for Taylor. Strikes out the side, but gives up bb and 2 singles. Strands the bases loaded. Has good stuff tonight.
Timmy U
Burke gives up a double, but also strikes out the side.
Timmy U
Arxy Hernandez with his 5th triple of the year. He's up to .260. Burrowes drives him in. Some younger bats at Kanny this year.
DirtySox
Burke coming back and being a dude would be fantastic.
Timmy U
Crazy outing so far for Burke. Through 2, 6K. Really good control except when it completely leaves him. 2 walks on like 10 pitches, otherwise pounding the zone. Tough to know what to make of it. He's 94-97 with a lot of life on the fastball. Change is better than I remember it.
Y2Jimmy0
Sean Burke looks good tonight and Grant Taylor’s stuff is insane.

mac9001
Burke with 6k in 2IP, fastball is averaging 96 (Max 98.5). ?
Timmy U
With Montgomery, Robert, Colas, Ramos, and DeLoach I think Charlotte may have a better line up tonight than the Sox. Grant Taylor up to 5K through 3. He's looking really good.
Timmy U
Long sac fly for Arxy. He is really impacting the baseball.

Keener, Gordon and Batista should all be there too IMO his development is more important than any of those guys. The Sox felt he was a first round talent pre injury (which it looks like he has recovered fully) and paid good money to prevent him from returning to LSU. He isn't being challenged at all in Low A and there's nothing there that will force him to make adjustments. It can be just like Schultz in AA....get him in the rotation and another starter can piggyback mid game during his starts. It's not like they are letting Taylor go 7 innings each time or anything. 1

Have to prioritize some guys over others. Taylor clearly Top 3 in the organization in terms of potential as a starter. That's all up to the minor league development guys. I think 4 inning starts in Kanny is fine. The innings are much more important than the level.
Timmy U
Great start for Eder 6.1IP 3H 0R 0ER 2bb 8K. Last batter was a super weak grounder to 3rd for a single.
