Lost the game for them. Along with the other things he failed at today. Zach, they’re hiring at Home Depot.

Zach defense has been horrible.  That lazy tag was pathetic.  The throw although high beat the runner  by three feet.  Zach should have blocked the base.

Bunting with 2 strikes, no outs and a ghost runner. Dumbest team in baseball.

The manager is incompetent.  It is incomprehensive that Grifol has not been fired after such bad start with only 15 wins into June.  The loss tonight threw Crochet under the bus.  The Sox need a change now.  Going back to the well with Grifol does nor work.

I think blocking the base is now illegal.

It’s honestly so insulting that Grifol hasn’t been fired yet.  More passionate fan bases would be rioting if their owner let the team just go to crap like Reinsdorf has.

OK faiR enough.  Zach should have been quicker applying a low tag.

I think overall Sox fans are angry, upset and frustrated but they realize JR is not going to change a damn thing at his age plus the fact that he's still making money.

There's nothing they can do until new ownership arrives but many of them are simply not caring at this time which is dangerous.

Angry, upset, frustrated fans still care...those that don't care anymore are apathetic and no guarantees they return when new ownership arrives.

JR is riding the Grifol hate until the end of the season to protect himself and Getz.  It is so damn obvious that Grifol will be the fall guy for this season, to take the pressure off of Jerry and Getz.  This is quite simply evil JR’s maniacal plan and he already telegraphed this move with the firing of Hahn and Kenny last year.  Once Grifol is fired in the offseason, the Sox will sell Getz’s new manager hire as a huge deal that will be rid of the Hahn taint since Grifol wasn’t his choice.  And it will be a bunch of BS and the Sox will suck next season as well.

We could be the best ever in history at something!!!!

If we're going to be bad, is way more interesting to watch 125 Ways to Lose a Game. Let's just have everything go bad.

How many times have we fallen for that same play? Anybody would be better than TLR.

We are so far beyond “careful what you wish for” stage in a coaching search.  I don’t fucking care who replaces Pedro, Pedro sucks and is embarrassing and all I can do is hope the next guy isn’t the same.  Pedro is just as bad as TLR was, I don’t feel like “oh s%*# man we shouldn’t have fired TLR look what happened!”  TLR probably would have 16 or 17 wins with this bunch and would have fallen asleep in the dugout five times in the 3-22 start.

get this clown out, hire a new guy and pray he isn’t a clown too

That new ownership you refer to might be his stupid child who's fucking everything up with the Bulls. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree

We are also so far beyond putting another bandaid on it. To me it's like the car is totaled and were thinking a new hood ornament will make a difference. He's just another symptom of a much bigger organizational problem. If it makes some fans happy, fire away, but it isn't going to move the needle much for me. Especially when he stays in house or brings in another person from an organization like KC.

The point is there is no band aid.  It’s an open festering wound and we have nothing to stop it.  the point is that this guy actually is actively hurting development in favor of playing vets, and we are now starting another rebuild.  The point is that Pedro is not the guy and never was

I agree. And if it gets some fans excited even better. They will still lose 100 games, they will still not have enough talent in the system to compete anytime soon. They will still be injury prone. They will still have a stubborn owner that values loyalty over wins. They will still be skipped over by premier free agents. They will still have a revolving door of coaches and managers with no clear plan for player development.

I'm not saying it doesn't need to be done, I'm saying it's not going to get me to watch more games, attend any games, etc. I'm not going to fall for another facelift to think this changes much of anything in isolation.

JR the greedy bastard must do the right thing and sell, he said last year when Hahn and Williams were fired and Getz hired that things would get better, he lied like the POS he is and the franchise is at a just about an all time low right down there with the Black Sox. I hate hearing that apathy is rampant among the fans, I know you think that there is no way the White Sox leave Chicago but if the fans are apathetic and no one cares, what happens then.

Ok, I’m just not interested in your repeatedly explaining that you believe nothing helps.  We are good.

Who knows if it will help or not. What definitely doesn’t help  and evidence sort of shows makes things worse, is doing nothing. Fire this clown.

Things have gotten so bad, Schriffen can’t even pop off out of line.

That's a deliberate misunderstanding of what I'm saying. I think a true cleaning of the house is required. Getz, Pedro, scouting, training, analytics. Don't you? The team can do any one or two of those things and it won't be enough. Do you disagree with that?

This started with me agreeing with @WhiteSox2023 that Pedro will be the fall guy and JR will try to sell us on another instant cure. Again, that's been his strategy for decades.

@WhiteSox2023I believe called it that. I think at a minimum JR has some behavior and reaction patterns, most of them bad.
