Buehrle>Wood
They really going to keep Thorpe down in AA until they win the league? Seems like a waste.

Dude has nothing left to prove in AA. Might as well send him to Charlotte and see how he does in that offensive environment.

Just the first half...they usually play the 2nd half champions at the end, at least that used to be the way it worked. Can't remember if the Southern League also had it broken down into 2 divisions or not.

If you're going to worry about the day to day of an 18 year Midwest kid in his first week of A ball, you might want to find a new hobby. 4 2

Nice to see The Wolkow Wrecker bounce back tonight and hit a big time bomb. He might take a little time, but lets remember, when colson was his age he was a junior in HS, Big G is is ahead of the curve. he might take a little time, but hitting tanks in A ball a week after turning 18 is pretty darn impressive in my book. I think he brings up an interesting point as we approach the draft here. Hope they make the right move and trust those hogmollies in the midwest. Colson, Schultz, George, go with the HS kids that were on the area codes teams. Follow the pattern of success. A lot more of it there than when they winged it with HS guys like Kath, Thompson, Kelly. Dont wanna give away my list too early, but I see some future Downtown Dominators in the midwest this year. To put it in an example some of you might understand better, If you were gonna spend all your coin on a Jeep Wagoneer, would you rather buy the one you can test drive, or have one shipped from the florida town you vacation in during the spring that youve maybe have seen once or twice?
