1549
USC, somehow f***s up. LSU, tumbles. Ohio State beats Purdue. Michigan, beats Northwestern, and Ohio State. This would likely set up a Oklahoma (assuming they continue to dominate) vs. Michigan title game. Oklahoma would probably win, but hey, you never know when a little Michigan magic will strike. Brian
I'm a Michigan fan and as much as I would love for them to win another title, I'm still peeved about 97, Osborne retiring so they gave him half of the title, I don't think Michigan would belong in that game. Even though the Wolverines are playing their best football since Navarre took the QB helm, a 2 loss team vs. an undefeated team would raise eyebrows, especially if the 2 loss team win. Yikes. But hey, maybe they'll make some noise. I just don't see USC losing again.

cwsox
1549, you know fromhe UM board that some of us have been calculating these possibilities since th Minnesota game. If USC and LSU both lose 1 more game, and Michiagn wins out, there will be no 1 loss team in the country in BCS consideration - who is a 1 loss team out there, maybe Miami Ohio? - and the top ranked 2 loss team is.... your Michigan Wolverines. When I saw the scores this morning, I realized how close we are. We are going to win out. With luck... ... with no luck, we are already the 5th ranked team in the country and will move up before the polls finale. And that says something about holding it together in the face of adversity. There are those who love to mock Michigan, but we are the ones who have climbed back into national title possibilities -- that says something special. whitesoxfan99
Your all forgetting the mighty TCU Horned Frogs Seriously though, if they make the championship game it will be a travesty. Oklahoma will put a beating on of the likes thats never been seen in a championship game.

Oklahoma will put a beating on of the likes thats never been seen in a championship game. even though it would be cool to see them in the NC, there's no reason they should be, they haven't played a team in the top 25 ALL SEASON, they play in one of the worst conferences in football. I'm positive it will be Oklahoma-USC and Oklahoma will win in a blowout.
Brian
Michigan is #8 in the BCS? Every major sports news outlet had them at #5 at least. Behind Texas and Tennessee? Guess those two wins vs. #8 Purdue and #10 MSU mean nothing, but the losses to Iowa and Oregon who were ranked at the time probably hurt a tad.
