AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!

Recommended Posts

Crochet is so good it's hard to believe. Every GM of a contender should be wanting him. You inherit a No. 1 starter who makes no money to speak of. He actually was Sox best top 15 draft pick in eons. Hard to believe they will give one of their own away even if it's for a king's ransom. If some team wants Crochet, it has to be an all time one-sided deal. They get a No. 1 starter who will lead them to a pennant probably and we get 6-8 players, four of which are top 50 prospects. I want to keep him for the record.

13 Ks on the road today? Excellent dominant job by Crochet.

Crochet should have his lawyer sue this bunch of buffoons for lack of run support.

The bullpen (Hello: Kopech) got bailed out for once.

Kopech is flat horrible this year, just brutal. Six losses, four blown save chances and an ERA of almost five.

When talking about how guys like Moncada, Jimenez and other were major disappointments don't forget to add his name into that mix.

If you want to blame Yoan and Eloy for being injured and being unable to play, OK, but Kopech isn't in that "mix", he is just no good.

To be honest even when they are fit and playing Yoan and Eloy haven't exactly been all-stars. One good season each is about all they can muster. And the ability to keep fit and healthy and therefore play regularly is part and parcel of being a professional, and that requires a prefessional attitude, something Eloy and Yoan lack. For most of the players at MLB level they clearly have/had the ability much of what makes the difference between a good carrer and missing out is attitude and professionalism.

Don't worry, Kopechs annual injury should be coming up any day now.

I wasn't getting into any specifics as to why the players were disappointments...just that they all are.

Honestly if all gets did was move Crochet to a starter… that’s a damn good move

Not only that but we e heard reports that the instruction in the minors at least on the pitching side is much more individualized and it's reaping some early benefits.

We're also seeing some evidence that Crochet may not be as slider reliant now which might be a part of a plan for arm health .

He's now featuring the cutter more which he can command in the strike zone better than a slider and is less likely to hang one , throw a wild pitch or hit a batter. This has been going on ever since he had that hiccup where he got hit harder. Since then he's been phenomenally good.
