What’s there to laugh about, whats funny?

That Ron feels he is in a position to negotiate, or has any leverage.

Since he can't discuss politics, he's branched over into ethics.

There's zero interest in baseball in Saudia Arabia, compared to golf or Formula 1 or futbol.  Diversifying to baseball from an oil and petroleum based economic foundation makes absolutely zero sense.

He definitely isn't in a position to brag about the Cubs' season, either.

Gotcha. It sounds like you agreed with me hence my reaction to the laugh emoji which I interpret to mean “you’re an idiot”.

Although I don’t think there’s zero interest in baseball, they just might not know it yet. They sure do like cricket in that part of the world and baseball is just a better version of cricket.

personally I appreciate all the disparate perspectives on this board! I usually agree with caulfield though. Particularly good discussion when politics starts to seep into sport (like this thread) and you get some fun takes. It's a good message board. Go Sox.

Kind of like like two major party candidates for the highest office in the land the first Tuesday in November.

Kennedy Jr. makes three you could say the same about lol.  His very own family doesn’t know what he is talking about.

It will be interesting how baseball changes their ownership rules as teams become prohibataly too expensive for individual or small group purchase. They have loosened to allow Institutional Investing. What might be next?

How about true public ownership with actual stock traded conventionally?
