caulfield12
Cut Colas to protect DeLoach Ortega Fletcher. Next thing you know...Pillar gets more back in trade for Angels than those three and Colas combined for Gets Hosed.
GGajewski18
Colas should go down because he's not getting everyday ABs, which he needs and deserves. Our dumbass manager insists on playing Benintendi still and Pham will play until he is traded. Is what it is at this point.

WestEddy
It's actually funny how the couple of admins and their acolytes pound the same square peg into the same round hole of their forced narrative with every single roster move. LOL. Pham will be traded in 5 weeks. I'm guessing, from what Southsider has hinted at, that Robert is either traded by 7/30, and if not, he goes right back on the IL for a month, to tune him up for a September cameo, then they shop him in the off-season. Benintendi? Who knows? Trying to get him right again? Sheets will probably be gone by the TDL. That's 2 slots for Colas and Pham/DeLoach to get regular at-bats for 2 months. Guys, it's truly funny how you act like Pedro Grifol pulled out a knife and slit somebody's throat in the season finale. "It's a horrible team, so whatever dumb ideas that enter my mind, the White Sox should slavishly carry out!!!" The draft is in 3 weeks. The TDL in 5. They'll move the people who are sought after, then start promotions. Calm down, already. 1 1

If Getz hasn’t told Grifol to wise the fvck up, he is culpable too. Other than the mediocre return we will get for most of our positional players, why would you not want to see what younger players like Colas can do in a wasted season to plan for the future? Also, have you looked at Pham’s stats lately? He isn’t returning jack squat, just like Sheets, whom you have been hyping up recently due to all of the 1B-needy teams. Robert has been terrible. Unless he gets hot, he won’t be traded until the offseason at the earliest. No idea why you would never mention Benintendi. The Sox are stuck with his sorry ass until they cut him. Jake
I think Colas should focus on getting his OPS above .800 in AAA before we melt down about which level he's assigned to.
Ducksnort
I'd be passed of I were Colas. How can someone get a solid footing if they are constantly being jerked back and forth.
The Mighty Mite
I haven’t been a big fan of Colas but what the Sox have done to this guy is a crime, do the guy a favor and trade him.

Agreed. Either trade him or leave him in AAA for an extended period of time Poor guy probably has a airline seat with his name on it

(Hence the modern day slavery comment, lol.) It's closer and closer to feeling they are deliberately screwing with him to "teach a lesson" whatever that even means. Harold is either the biggest Getz homer ever or he is Getz himself. Harold defended this awful signing of a rotting corpse from the start by Getz, so he can’t back down now. It’s quite embarrassing and I don’t think he realizes that he’s creating absolutely ZERO credibility for himself by continuing to defend Getz signing this corpse of a once good catcher. Oldy Moldy!! Wouldn’t that be easier to do if the team quit fucking around with him? Call him up for 1 day. Then call him up and sit him. Then say you have to get looks at him in various roles only to send him down the very next day. Succeeding in Major League Baseball is hard enough when the team is doing everything in its power to help you succeed. It’s damn near impossible when your handled like the Sox have handled Colas.

WestEddy
Sounds like he'll be up after a Pham trade. Oscar Colas "did good up here. He made a lot of improvements," Grifol said. "He just ran into a numbers game as far as playing. There’s no reason to keep him here if he’s not playing." But for some reason, they're either trying to get their money's worth, or hoping he can find his swing, and even get to the point of an exchange of bad contracts. I have this wild thought that they'll get through the TDL, then Benny maybe starts once or twice a week in the last 2 months.
