Don't think he had any chance of throwing him out anyway.

I’m sure he wouldn’t have, but to not even try is inexcusable and in line with the effort he’s given far too much the second half of last year and this year.

Lmfao, I just found this from the start of the season. Just another reason to hate this #%^# franchise. 28/30 teams allowed the Pre and Post game shows on MLB.tv and the Sox were 1 of the 2 who didn't.

What teams have Pre/Postgame shows available in MLB.TV?

The following teams will be available for the 2024 season, check back for updates (subject to change):

  • Arizona Diamondbacks
  • Atlanta Braves
  • Baltimore Orioles
  • Boston Red Sox
  • Chicago Cubs
  • Cincinnati Reds
  • Cleveland Guardians
  • Colorado Rockies
  • Detroit Tigers
  • Houston Astros
  • Kansas City Royals
  • Los Angeles Angels
  • Los Angeles Dodgers
  • Miami Marlins
  • Milwaukee Brewers
  • Minnesota Twins
  • New York Mets
  • Oakland Athletics
  • Philadelphia Phillies
  • Pittsburgh Pirates
  • San Diego Padres
  • Seattle Mariners
  • San Francisco Giants
  • St Louis Cardinals
  • Tampa Bay Rays
  • Texas Rangers
  • Toronto Blue Jays
  • Washington Nationals

Looks like they finally caved and it's available now.

At that distance, just do the professional thing. Set up properly, and make the throw. It really is a problem that needs to be addressed with him. He catches the ball flat footed all the time.

Imagine the heat he'd be catching doing that in a playoff or World Series game.

Every player with the White Sox inevitably becomes totally unlikeable.

Burger Cease Abreu the few exceptions.

Dye had the same terrible habit.

I am now in the #TradeRobert camp. f*** that lazy s%*#. At least setup and make the throw. Not only for the practice because you always catch the ball flatfooted but what about the miniscule chance he trips or leaves the bag early???

He and Moncada played much harder for Cuba.

This is just a job to clock in and out of to him.

A bit like Rendon.

Why do we PH Pham for our catcher, with no real advantage gained? I don't understand.

That probably cost us the game.  First Lee has been hitting well enough.  Second Pham struck out.  Third you bring Maldonado late in  the game. Fourth Maldonado comes to bat in the ninth in a tied game.  Pedro is a moron.

I was wondering about that. Figured it was just something I was missing. But yea, makes perfect sense.

Not to mention if we went to extras he would have been the ghost runner
