aboz56
Voted for Roons and Farmio, but not Hawk. Only way I'd vote for him is if it meant he'd retire. Sometimes I just wish he'd be GAWN! In fact, if I had to pick between Hawk staying with the Sox or Mariotti staying at the Sun Times, I'd spare Mariotti.

BurlyMan56
I'd much rather have Hawk than Mariotti...Hawk has a passion for this team and brings excitement to the TV...He also is a very intelligent baseball mind...

BurlyMan56
Hawk is the reason I had to get the mute button on my remote fixed. yeah he can be annoying...but I usually enjoy listening to him and his stories...Different perspective then the typical boring announcers... SnB
Hawk is the reason I had to get the mute button on my remote fixed. most announcers don't have 1/2 the passion for the team as hawk does. It's nice to have an announcer that's a fan of the team he covers.
BrandoFan
I started out hating Hawk. Little by little, his passion and homerific eccentricity were too hard to resist. Now he is on my very exclusive Ten People I'd Like To Meet Before I Turn 22 List. Trust me, as a redneck, you could do a lot worse. Obscured by the infamous Konerko and Thomas EI shots is his call of Olivo's hit against the Twins. I mean, with a walk-off homer you would expect some heart-stopping freakouts, but this was a FIRST INNING BLOOPER just out of Stewart's reach! Mercy. Capn12
Met Hawk at Picnic in the Park in 2000, Talked to him for about 15 minutes, great guy, and great ambassador for the Sox. When I told him I was from South Carolina, he talked about his minor league days in this area, and being from Woodruff, Sout Carolina. I can hear the Hawkisms over and over, and they don't bother me at all. Hell, he helped convert my best friend to a Sox fan. Haw and Wimpy, yeah they prolly were the best duo for the Sox, but DJ ain't too bad, and he's improving IMO. I really warmed up to DJ after the Toronto fiasco, as seen below in one of my former sigs.
