It's not like they got a first round player with their 2nd or 3rd picks; or a 2nd round player with the 7th round pick like last year. On top of that, a lot of the top high schoolers clearly were expensive and many other teams passed up on them. I don't know i'm not that offended by this draft. Harold's Leg Lift Posted July 16 Share Posted July 16 The Tigers took Anson Siebert in the 16th. He was one of the top HS pitchers in the class but was shut down in April with a forearm strain. However with the new age of NIL in college it may cost significantly more to get the HS kids in round 2 to skip school.
