Also, most everyone in this tier will move around over the next few weeks as early-season impressions formulate, so don't get married to this order. #10 Willits (son of former big leaguer Reggie) is a 6-1 shortstop with great on-base skills, but limited in-game power. Timmy U
Deep draft class without a real superstar. Not a terrible year to pick 1-10 and 2-1 (41). They ought to be able to get good players with both picks. Maybe not franchise altering players, but good ones. He has Dumesnil at 41. I doubt that severely, but him at 41 and Willits at 10 would be a good haul.
Y2Jimmy0
The White Sox pick at 10 and 44 actually. Minor change but wanted to be accurate.

Springfield Soxfan
I want them to draft Appenzeller; however, Sox need athletic outfielders. Still wish Sox drafted Bradfield over Gonzalez.

Expand For every 500-1000 Kelenics...there are just a handful of generational talents to impact the game to the extent that both those guys did...with both power and speed. That puts so much pressure on the bat to play if you can't handle CF or RF. There are obviously anomalies out there....like Stephen Kwan, but they are few and far between. I also don't think Taylor will be the BPA at 10.

I don't think Taylor will be the best available player at 10 either but really good hitters are expensive too and they desparetly need them too. If they decide they want the best available bat at 1-10 I would certainly understand.

zisk
Don't be shocked if the Sox get a good player at 10. They do better there than when they pick higher. Crochet, Sale and Big Frank were all picked later.
