I would prefer more upside. I am heartened that the 2026 high school class looks very very promising. That may be the best hope for this rebuild. I think Ford is interesting but I wouldn't take him at 1-10 either. I think this years HS class has a chance to be promising too. There are like 6-7 shortstops who have a chance to be pretty good. I like Ebel and Willits and you also have Carlson, Cunningham, James, Franco and Gambel though he may end up in CF.
