mreye
You're always posting other articles and whenever I post something to your attention, you're right on it. My point: Do you do a damn thing at your job???????????

My point: Do you do a damn thing at your job??????????? Answer: not after 10 am or so. All of our work happens early in the morning. Everything after that is a piece of cake. That is a big part of the reason I have been doing some job hunting. I hate being bored ( or as I like to call it 'Post 9') on the job. BrandoFan
Seeing Steinbrenner's facial expressions and gestures during games 5 and 6 of the WS was nothing short of priceless. Not that I need any reasons to root for the Marlins, mind you. Afterall, I am forever grateful for what they did in Games 5, 6 and 7 of the NLCS. (Normally, I would do a wicked 'ROTFLMAO' at this point, but I am afraid I used them all up during said NLCS games...har-har) Go Fish!! SuperSteve
I hate Georgie. With that said, I'd love him if he was our owner. He sticks up for his team no matter what, and he is hard on the guys. If his guys don't do out and play with everything they have, he'll tell them off and tell the media often times. He spends the money, and loves to win. How many of our guys could get away with stuff they do if George was the owner?

I wonder what the opinion of Yankees' fans (true Yanks fans) are. I know the rest of baseball hates him.
The Critic
I actually agree with Evil Lord George on this one. WHILE I DO NOT THINK Matsui should have been in consideration for ROY, the fact is that he was, and for the two writers to vote on their OWN opinion of what SHOULD be the criteria rather than the criteria handed to them as voters does an injustice to the voting at hand. They should be reprimanded for their blatant disregard of the instructions and criteria handed to them, but I don't think they should lose their voting priveleges. I think they'd probably have voted Matsui 5th if they had it to do over again, and probably would have shut their mouths about it too. The writers should try to change the rule, or abstain from voting as a protest, rather than imposing their own agenda on the process that was set by MLB. Don't agree, don't vote! YASNY
When George complains about injustices suffered by the Yankees, I just have to laugh.
