7/23 - Sox @ Rangers 7:05 - Crochet v. Gray - Dealey Plaza vs. Daley Plaza

Recommended Posts

Corey Julks, thee team's 3rd to best hitter, has had 10 ABs in July.  Won't start him, won't use him as a pinch hitter, even in the most obvious circumstances that even Grifol could see.  Square in the doghouse (how has Grifol earned the right to have a doghouse?).

While Lee is by no means hitting well, he's a better hitter than the 2 guys right before him in the lineup; yet Pedro pinch hits for him and not Lopez or Baldwin.

Not a conspiracy. That area is so small and congested, it would have been an easy shot

No doubt a conspiracy. Kennedy was led to be slaughtered, just like Sox fans.

Julks is bad.  The real travesty is Colas is not getting any at bats in a completely lost season.

That's what a lot of people say.  It's all relative.  on this team, his numbers are better than everyone except for Robert and Pham.  10 ABs in July is ridiculous.

Yes, Colas should be up.  And Sosa should never have been sent down.  His bat was improving.

I am old enough to remember when we built a roster of potential trade pieces.

Throwing to second with a lefty up and two outs is one of the dumbest decisions in the history of baseball

And with Crochet pitching even more.

These are not major league at bats with runners in scoring position. The fucking manager should be canned on the spot for how these clowns are swinging bat s with men in scoring position.

Sox leave too many runs on the table not making contact with men on third and less than two outs, and failing to move the runner from second to third.  This is repeated gme after game.  No corrections.  When is Grifol going to go?  We need a change regardless.  We need to bring in some good bat handler contact hitters for next season.

Pedro is just a bad manager.  He needs to be replaced ASAP.

They still had him at 2nd easily.  WTF was Lopez doing?

Tomorrow they can set the franchise record having two double-digit losing streaks in the same season.

The good news tonight? The bullpen didn't blow the game. ?

Hard to believe Sox have lost 9 in a row considering they've had what, two other long losing streaks? It's hard to string together that many losses. Hard but not impossible cause as we know Sox are deficient in 3 areas that can cost u games on a given night: horrid lineup of hitters; horrid bullpen and bad defense.

I thought Sheets in RF got a late jump on that key hit out there. Also the mixup on the steal of second and ultimate steal of home. Another loss conducive to keeping a losing streak alive cause Crochet pitched. They beat him so they could win another tomorrow and make it 10 in a row as our Sox again make teams healthy. Rangers have a blah record. A sweep of Sox in theory could rejuvenate them like we've done other teams.

Tanner Banks could be a piece for someone at the deadline

His pitches scream "hit me." Another pitcher Fathom could get a hit off of.

Is 1970 the last time they were 50 games under .500 at any point during the season? If Crochet and Fedde were more like their pre-season projections, they might not have 20 wins now. South Side, staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad up!

True story.

Was at the JFK Assassination site the same afternoon that Trump was very nearly taken out.

Considering a bid at $300,000. Built in 1968, beautiful views.

Was at $500k before hurricane.

Totally in love with Puerto Rico now with one significant  exception...cost of going out to eat there is astronomical.  Would have to cook almost all meals at home.  Major plus is connection to US healthcare and retirement system as a territory.  And they carry David Yurman jewelry for the wife haha.
